Swap Meet Terms and Conditions

Australia's premier Japanese car show

1. Coordination and Oversight

The Swap Meet will be coordinated and overseen by the All Japan Day (AJD) committee.

2. Eligibility

The Swap Meet is strictly for Japanese car parts and accessories.

General merchandise, non-automotive goods, or items not related to Japanese classic vehicles are not permitted.

Commercial or retail traders are not permitted to trade in this area. These must be pre-approved and the main trade stand requirements apply.

3. Site Allocation

Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis once registration is confirmed.

Stallholders must advise of space requirements (e.g. 3x3m, 6x3m) when registering.

Sites will be unpowered and located on grass or hardstand surfaces near the workshop area.

4. Setup and Operation

Stallholders must arrive between 10:00am and 10:30am prior to the event commencing at 11:00am.

All items must be pre-priced and clearly marked.

Stallholders must bring their own infrastructure, including tables, shade, and display materials.

Cash sales only – no EFTPOS facilities will be provided by the museum or the All Japan Day Committee.

Stallholder vehicles and trailers must be parked out of sight, away from the main entrant display area, once setup is complete.

The Swap Meet will operate during main event hours — early pack-up is not permitted.

5. Clean Up and Removal of Items

All items, packaging, and waste must be removed from the site by close of business on the event day.

Dumping or abandoning items is strictly prohibited.

Sites must be left clean and tidy to avoid penalties.

6. Consequences for Non-Compliance

Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in:

Immediate removal from the event grounds;

Refusal of entry to future All Japan Day events;

Forfeiture of any site fees; and/or

clean-up or dumping fee to cover the cost of removing any abandoned items or rubbish.

Minimum charge: $100, with additional costs applied for larger quantities or disposal requirements.

7. Liability

All traders participate at their own risk.

AJDC and the National Motor Museum accept no responsibility for any loss, theft, damage, or injury.

Stallholders are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure setup at all times.

8. Agreement

By registering for and attending the All Japan Day Classic Swap Meet, traders acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions
